DeWalt DWS709 vs DWS779
So the DeWalt DWS709 vs DWS779 ?
The DWS709 is somewhat let down by it's cross cut capacity and that really is the most obvious difference between the two saws.
Depending on where you buy either saw the DWS709 is usually a small bit cheaper and if you are on a strict budget with yours tools and don't mind the reduced cutting capacity then it is still a very high quality saw.
For us the DWS779 is the clear winner if you need a miter saw that can handle a high work load and need it to have the standard cross cut capacity that you would expect from a 12 inch saw then it is a bit of an obvious choice.
